A visitor is counted once per day. The hash includes the date, so somebody who returns on three days counts as three visitors.

What is counted here

  • One row per public page opened. No admin, API, static or prefetch requests.
  • Each row: path, device class, country, referring origin, and a visitor hash that resets at midnight. No cookie.
  • IP addresses are stored hashed and truncated. The full address is never written down.
  • Rows are deleted after 90 days.
  • No bounce rate, no session time — the site never records anyone leaving.

The Privacy Policy describes this collection in full, including how long everything else is kept.
