Refund Policy

When a placement is refunded, and when it is not. This page governs refunds on SelfBid, in ₹. Last updated: 2026-09-21.

1. The three answers

Your payment is in one of three states. Your status page uses these words.

Every submission is checked against the Rules before it goes on the board. If it is not published, you are refunded in full.

Leave checkout before you pay and nothing is charged.

  • In review. In review means the money is held and not yet earned. If it is not published, you are refunded in full.
  • Published. Published means the placement was delivered, and a delivered placement is not refundable.
  • Rejected. Rejected means you are refunded in full, to the payment method you paid with.

2. When we refund in full

We return the whole amount to the payment method you used:

  • We do not publish your post, for any reason. Nothing is kept for a placement we did not run.
  • We took the money and your post never went up. You choose: we publish it, or we refund it.
  • Duplicate payment. The same payment captured twice. A second payment you made to move up is a new purchase.
  • Wrong amount taken. We return the difference.
  • Unauthorised payment. Money taken from your card, bank or UPI without your permission. Tell us and your bank.

3. When we do not refund

A placement is delivered the moment your post appears on the board. After that, none of these is a refund:

Nothing in this policy takes away a right Indian law gives you.

  • Someone later pays more and ranks higher. Your post stays on the board. That is how the board works.
  • Your position falls over time. No position is held for any length of time.
  • Fewer views or clicks than you hoped. You buy a position, not an audience or any amount of traffic.
  • You changed your mind, or made a mistake. We take it down, or fix what we can. The amount stays.

4. How a refund is paid, and how long it takes

Refunds are paid in ₹ to the payment method you paid with. Never in cash, never to anyone else. We do not deduct gateway charges.

We acknowledge a request within 24 hours. We decide it within 10 working days. An approved refund is sent within 7 working days of that decision. The whole request is handled within one month.

A working day is any day other than a Sunday or a public holiday at Eswari Ubbala, Veksa, Sarada Nagar 5th Lane, Door No. 20-480, Narsipatnam, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh 531116, India. Your bank decides how fast a sent refund reaches you.

To ask, write to selfbidsupport.lol@gmail.com with the tracking id from your receipt, the date, the amount, and what you want.

Asking does not put your name on the board. We and our payment provider hold payment records either way. See the Privacy Policy.

5. If a post is removed after it was published

A published post we remove under the Rules or the Terms, or because we must, is not refunded. The placement ran.

If we remove a post by mistake, we put it back at its position, or refund it if you prefer.

A refund does not move anyone else up or down the board.

6. If you are not satisfied

Write to our Grievance Officer, Eswari Ubbala, at selfbidsupport.lol@gmail.com, or by post to Veksa, Eswari Ubbala, Veksa, Sarada Nagar 5th Lane, Door No. 20-480, Narsipatnam, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh 531116, India. The full route is on Grievance redressal.

You can also raise a dispute with your bank or UPI provider. You keep every right Indian consumer law gives you, including a consumer forum.

The version in force when you paid is the one that applies.

Version history

Newest first. Your purchase records the version in force when you paid. Old versions are never edited — a change gets a new version.

  • Version 2026-09-21 — in force
Rewritten shorter and plainer: 17 sections become 6. One refund clock, stated once — acknowledged within 24 hours, decided within 10 working days, sent within 7 working days of the decision. Says this page governs refunds, and drops the promise that a refund or a chargeback re-prices a board position, which is not something the board can do.
  • Version 2026-09-20
Drops the operator-placement exception from the ordering rule it records: nothing overrides the paid order.
  • Version 2026-09-18
States the three money outcomes — in review, published, rejected — in the same words the status page uses, says a refusal is refunded in full whatever the reason, and tells you to quote the tracking id from your receipt.
  • Version 2026-09-17
Corrects when the service is delivered: a verified payment buys a check, and publication is what delivers the placement.
  • Version 2026-09-16
    First published version.
