SelfBid Rules
What you can post, what is refused, and what happens to your money. The Terms are the full agreement.
1. Who can post
- You must be 18 or over and able to enter a contract.
- Pay with a method you are entitled to use. One payment, one placement.
- Do not pool money from other people to fund a placement.
- Posting means you accept the Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. What is welcome
You pick a statement from a fixed list and fill in the subject. Every statement on that list is promotional — it puts you, your work, your product or someone you back in a good light — and paid placement for that statement is what SelfBid sells. The rest of this section is about how a submission is judged, not about what the list offers.
Political opinion, religious and community affiliation, fandom, and sharp criticism of public figures are welcome here. None of it counts against you.
Review looks at the kind of claim a post makes, never at the side it takes.
SelfBid backs no candidate, party, company or point of view.
3. Opinion is fine. Accusations are different.
"I am a fan of X." "In my opinion X is a poor minister." Those are opinions, and both directions are allowed here.
Saying a named person committed a crime, as though it were fact, is not. "In my opinion" in front of it changes nothing. Defamation is both a civil and a criminal matter in India.
Repeating someone else's allegation can carry the same liability as making it.
4. Never allowed, at any price
No amount buys an exception. Do not post:
- Child sexual material, or anything that sexualises a child.
- Nudity, pornography or sexual content.
- Intimate images shared without consent, including morphed or synthetic ones.
- Threats of violence, encouragement to commit it, or terrorist and extremist material.
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or schemes to move or hide criminal money.
- Promotion of betting, gambling, lotteries or real-money gaming.
- Abuse, slurs and harassment, including on the basis of gender, and hatred or violence towards any group.
- Another person's private details: address, phone number, identity or payment numbers, medical details, private messages or photographs.
- Pretending to be another person, a brand or an official account.
- Fraud and phishing, fake discounts, fake reviews, guaranteed income or returns, and anything you know to be false.
- Someone else's photographs, writing, logos or trademarks passed off as yours.
- Anything else unlawful in India, or ordered removed by a court or an authorised government agency.
5. Links
If you add a link:
- A full http or https address to a public page. A @handle shows as text and is not clickable.
- No shortened, invite or chat links. Use the real destination.
- No downloads, no hidden redirects, and no page that would break these rules.
6. What happens after you pay
Some things are refused on the form, before any money is taken: code or markup, contact details, identity or card numbers, a threat, or a slur. You are not charged.
Paying submits your post for review. Every submission is checked against the Rules before it goes on the board. If it is not published, you are refunded in full.
Six kinds are refused straight away and refunded: sexual content; abuse and slurs; betting and real-money gaming promotion; money-laundering and financial-crime schemes; violence and terror material; illegal goods or services. A link to a site blocked for one of those reasons goes the same way.
Anything not decided straight away is looked at in turn, oldest first.
The result is on your status page: selfbid.lol/status/ plus the tracking id on your receipt. If a decision looks wrong to you, write to selfbidsupport.lol@gmail.com with that id, or use Grievance. Asking does not hold up your refund.
7. What happens to your money
Three answers, and no others. The same words are on your status page.
- In review. In review means the money is held and not yet earned. If it is not published, you are refunded in full.
- Published. Published means the placement was delivered, and a delivered placement is not refundable.
- Rejected. Rejected means you are refunded in full, to the payment method you paid with.
8. What a position is, and what it is not
A higher amount ranks higher. Equal amounts are ordered by whose payment was verified first. Every position can be taken by paying more, and no position is held against a larger payment. If someone pays more later, your post moves down. That is not a failed purchase.
You can add to a placement later, and the position then counts the total paid for that post. A position is not property, has no cash value, and cannot be sold or transferred.
No prizes, no winnings, no rewards. Nothing is awarded for reaching any position, nothing is decided by chance, and nothing is staked. No part of your payment goes to anyone named in a post.
No ads, no notifications, no messages, no login, no signup. There is no account on SelfBid. Your tracking id is the whole of the relationship.
9. Reporting a post
Every post has a Report button on its own page. Pick a reason, say what is wrong, and you get a reference. Quote it if you follow up. No account, no payment, no fee.
You can also write to our grievance officer, Eswari Ubbala, at selfbidsupport.lol@gmail.com, with the link and what is wrong with it. Trademark and copyright complaints go the same way, with proof of your rights.
If a rule is broken we may take a post off the board while we look at it, remove it, or disable a link and leave the rest up. We never change a post's position.
Refunds governs refunds. Nothing here takes away a right Indian law gives you. Timelines and the appeal route are on Grievance.
SelfBid is operated by Veksa, Eswari Ubbala, Veksa, Sarada Nagar 5th Lane, Door No. 20-480, Narsipatnam, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh 531116, India.
Version history
Newest first. Your purchase records the version in force when you paid. Old versions are never edited — a change gets a new version.
- Version 2026-09-21 — in force
Rewritten shorter and plainer: 23 sections become 9. One list of what is never allowed at any price, including nudity, sexual content, terrorism, money laundering and abuse. States the six kinds refused straight away and refunded, that opinion and criticism are welcome, and that a position carries no prize, no cash value and no transfer. Removes the account language and the second refund clock. - Version 2026-09-20
States the ordering rule without its exception: position is decided by the amount paid and, for equal amounts, by the time of the verified payment, with nothing held above a higher payment. - Version 2026-09-19
Adds the reason presets: a refusal now names one of a fixed list of reasons, and the status page shows that reason, what you could change and send again, and a support id for the decision. - Version 2026-09-18
Says in terms that political and religious opinion, fandom and criticism are welcome here, states the three money outcomes in the same words the status page uses, and adds the no ads, no notifications, no messages, no login, no signup promise. - Version 2026-09-17
Sets out what is refused at submission, what is refused before publication, and what happens to the money in each case. - Version 2026-09-16
First published version.
